Due to its lactic acid content, goats milk may help to control and even prevent acne. Lactic acid is a natural exfoliant that gently removes dead skin cells, helping to prevent acne by keeping pores clear of dirt, oil and excess sebum. The lactic acids present encourage cell turnover and revitalisation.
It is gentle, which can help to maintain the skins natural moisture, as well as having moisturising and anti-inflammatory properties. This base is perfect for deep hydration as it is a natural source of fatty acids, essential for maintaining moisture in facial skin.
