Due to its lactic acid content, goats milk may help to control and even prevent acne. Lactic acid is a natural exfoliant that gently demoves dead skin cells, helping to prevent acne by keeping pores clear of dirt, oil and excess sebum. The lactid acids present encourage cell turnover and revitalistion.
It is gentle, which can help to maintain the skins natural moisture, as well as having mosturinsing and anti-inflammatory properties. This base is perfect for deep hydration as it is a natural source of fatty acids, essential for maintaining moisture in facial skin.
This base is also less alergenic than synthetically loaded commercial soaps, making it perfect for sensitive skin, acne and for skin conditions such as eczema as it soothes dry and samaged skin.
